The Man Who Invented Christmas (PG)

Storyline

With mulled wine and mince pies.  In 1843, Charles Dickens the novelist is at a low point in his career with three flops behind him and family expenses piling up at home. He decides to write a Christmas story and publish it in less than two months. As he labours, he develops a seemingly unsolvable writer’s block created though his personal demons with his characters, especially in his imagined conversations with Ebenezer Scrooge. Struggling for inspiration against his frustrations and his characters he achieves his goal by creating a classic tale that would define the soul of modern Christmas.   Running time 104 minutes.
