The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (12A)

Storyline

This is a sensitive adaptation of Rachel Joyce’s engaging novel.  Harold Fry receives a letter from a terminally ill former colleague and, on a whim, rather than post his reply he decides to continue his walk the length of England to deliver it.  His experiences en route and who he meets on the walk have a profound effect on memories and disappointments in his life. Jim Broadbent and Penelope Wilton give excellent performances as Harold and his wife.   Running time:  108 minutes
