Storyline

In rural France, Totone’s carefree teenage life changes when he must take responsibility for his 7-year-old sister, Claire. Facing up to his new reality, his solution is to compete to make the best Comté cheese in the Jura region and bag the prize money. This big-hearted film shines a light on farming and marginalised rural communities, whilst focusing on artisan cheese making. Running time: 92 minutes. French with subtitles.

The first film in a French Cheese and Wine double-bill.   The second film is The Tasting.

At 6.45pm, a cheese and wine tasting event conducted by James Grant (No2 Pound Street) cheesemonger and World Cheese Judge and Katherine Dart (Master of Wine) will take place.  Doors will open at the earlier time of 6.30pm.
