The F-Rating was introduced at the 2014 Bath Film Festival as a way of supporting and promoting women both on-screen and behind the camera in an effort to redress the imbalance in the film industry.   The F-Rating is awarded to films which are:

  • Directed by women
  • Written by women
  • Has one or more significant women on-screen

 

F-Rated    Qualifies with one of the above

FF-Rated    Qualifies with two of the above

FFF-Rated   Qualifies with all three of the above
