How to Exchange Your Booked Ticket(s)

The society has implemented a new ticketsource feature allowing you to exchange your booked ticket(s) yourself.

If you find after booking that you cannot attend, your booked ticket(s) can be exchanged up to 3 hours before the film start time.  You can exchange either the complete booking or part of the booking, and you can exchange to a different seat for the same film, or for a different film as long as the film is open for booking.

To exchange your booked ticket(s), open the ‘Booking Confirmation’ email you received from Ticketsource when you booked your ticket. Scroll down and towards the end you will see a button ‘Manage my booking’. (See screenshot below).

Click ‘Manage my booking’ and follow the onscreen prompts which are very similar to the normal booking process.

Note:

a.  When exchanging your ticket(s) for the same film, you must deselect your current seat(s) (the ones highlighted in red) before you can select your new seat(s).

b. To exchange only part of a booking, initiate the exchange process, select the seats you want to keep and submit.  The remaining seats will be released and you will be refunded. For example:

– if you have 4 tickets and only want two of them,  initiate the exchange process and the film. Only select 2 seats, and submit.  You will receive a refund for 2 seats.
– if you have 2 tickets and only want one of them, initiate the exchange process and the film. Only select 1 seat and submit.  You will receive a refund for 1 seat.

We are hoping that this will be of benefit to you, our members, in that we will know beforehand which seats can be reallocated to new bookings or to those in the front rows of the cinema.
