Renew your membership

In view of the impact on our schedule by COVID-19 , we have decided to suspend the annual membership payment due on April  1st.

  • If you pay by direct debit (GoCardless), no payment will be taken. Instead we will take a proportional payment when our screenings recommence.
  • If you have already renewed by cash, cheque or ticketsource, we will compensate you.
  • For others, we hope you will renew once the cinema is reopened.

Keep safe in this difficult time.

Annual Membership is £22 (direct debit), £25 (card/cheque/cash), £5 student (16 or over)
The year runs from 1st April to 31st March.
Annual price reduces by 25% on 1st July, 1st October, 1st January.
Age guidance: For membership is 16+ years; For ticket sales is 12+ subject to film certificate.

To renew your membership select one of the payment methods below.

By Direct Debit (preferred)

This service is provided by GoCardless*.   Preferred method as it reduces the society’s administration effort.

Single Membership – £22

Double Membership – £44

You can cancel a direct debit at any time either online or by contacting your bank.

By Debit/Credit Card

This service is provided via Ticketsource.   During the process, you will be asked to enter one membership number, and the name(s) of everyone renewing. This is so that we know who has renewed.

Single Membership – £25

Double Membership – £50

Student Membership – £5

By Cash/Cheque

Same price as ‘By Debit/Credit Card’.

Join at a screening or by sending your cheque made payable to Beaconsfield Film Society to BFS Administrator, Upper Meadow, Hammersley Lane, Penn, High Wycombe, HP10 8HB.  Please include your full name, address and email.

* This will set up your automatic yearly membership payment via a direct debit mandate.  The first payment will be taken just after 1st April. Subsequent payments of £22 per person will be taken yearly on 1st April.   GoCardless is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland, and is the UK’s leading Direct Debit provider. The data is protected by military grade encryption and we don’t see your bank account details at all.   Once a year, in early March, the society will notify you that your yearly subscription will be collected on 1st April.

Once you have set up a direct debit, you can cancel it at any time by either contacting your bank or if you have online banking cancelling it yourself.
