Storyline

Eleanor Morgenstein (June Squibb) and longtime friend, Bessie, are living a “Golden Girls” life together in Florida. But when Bessie dies, Eleanor decides to move to New York to be with her daughter and grandson, neither of whom have much time for her. Lonely, and to make new friends, Eleanor stumbles into a local meeting of Holocaust survivors and recounts Bessie’s story as her own. What could possibly go wrong?
