Storyline

Martin McDonagh, Brendon Gleeson and Colin Farrell reunite for this tale of dark humour and dramatic intensity. The year is 1923 and the Irish Civil War rumbles on across the water. Padraic and Colm’s lives are punctuated by a daily trip to the pub but one day Colm abruptly ends their friendship – it makes no sense.  Set among Ireland’s breathtaking scenery in a part of the world where both everything and nothing seems to be happening, the break-up affects the small community and has devastating consequences for both men.
