The Béliers are ordinary people: Rodolphe and Gigi are married, have two children and run their farm for a living. Ordinary people? Well, almost… since three of them, Dad, Mum and their son Quentin, are deaf. Which is not the case of the eldest sister, Paula who play an indispensable role in their everyday life, particularly when it come to running the family farm. And not only can Paula speak but her music teacher discovers her gift for singing and encourages her to apply to a prestigious music college in Paris. Paula is torn between her family and following her dream in Paris. The film sensitively and humorously explores the dilemma she faces, and the relationship with her live-wire mother and her laid-back father. French/Sign language with subtitles.
