Storyline

USA 2025. Director: James Vanderbilt.  Nuremberg’s gripping narrative and characterisation have been admired for their intricate depiction of the Nuremberg Trials. There was some criticism for historical inaccuracies and oversimplification of complex events and characters. Overall, though, it is regarded as a significant and stimulating historical drama which centres on American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, who is tasked with determining whether Nazi prisoners are fit to stand trial for their war crimes and finds himself in a complex battle of wits with Hermann Göring, Hitler’s right-hand man.
