Storyline

Norway 2025. Director: Joachim Trier.  An egotistical film director tries to reconnect with his family through the power of cinema. Stellan Skarsgård delivers his best performance as the director and absent father who tries to convince his anxious actress daughter to star in his autobiographical film. Sentimental Value is the first Norwegian film to win an Oscar for best international feature film. Running time: 133 minutes. English/Norwegian with subtitles.
