Storyline

Carey Mulligan gives an excellent performance as Cassandra, a medical school dropout pushing thirty, who is emotionally scarred by the hideous rape of a bosom friend and the failure of society to do more than sympathise. She plans a perfect way to cope with her desire for vengeance against the perpetrators of such crimes. Posing as inebriated, she visits local bars to meet nocturnal predators, wolves in sheep’s clothing, and leads them into humiliating encounters.  Running time 114 minutes.
