Storyline

France 2011.   An uplifting reflection on the life of Philippe, a rich, intellectual who became a quadriplegic after a paragliding accident. Philippe likes to live a formal, disciplined lifestyle.  So how did a confident, brash, self-centred and jobless youngster walk into his home, disrupting interviews for Philippe’s vacant carer position, and end up on a trial period for the job?

Watch as both men introduce each other to different wordly experiences, while their relationship develops and grows, despite opposition from friends. Very funny moments alongside sad harsh realities of life. A wonderful reminder that no matter what our differences and background, we all learn from each other. Based on a true story, this is the 2nd most successful French film based on spectator numbers.  Running time: 112 minutes. French with subtitles.
