In April 2026 the society donated a bursary of £12,000 to support students studying at the NFTS.  This money will be added to the NFTS student support fund and will shortly be allocated by NFTS to worthy recipients.  Once we are notified, we hope to invite the recipient(s) of the next bursary to attend a BFS screening to tell members about the work they are creating and how the bursary helped them.   So not only do members enjoy a range of great films in a superb cinema at very competitive prices, their membership helps support the next generation of film and TV talent.
