BFS sponsors young film makers

We are proud to announce sponsorships for three young and talented students selected by the sponsorship committee of the NFTS. on our behalf. Gaining a good degree at the NFTS is a major steppingstone for a successful career and we wish them well. The NFTS supplies graduates to all department of film-making across the world and credits gained are among the top film productions with leading directors.

Michael Pearce (left) – Digital Effects

 Michael Pearce is currently a Colourist studying at The National Film and Television School, undertaking a Masters in Digital Effects. Since February 2018, Michael has over 100 credits to his name, including music videos, documentaries, short films, commercials and feature films. Michael interned for Company 3 during summer 2018, which is one of the biggest finishing houses in the world. He hopes to return after graduation to work for them as a Junior Colourist.

Tafadzwa (known as Nigel) Tadyanehondo – Colourist

 Nigel Tadyanehondo is a Colourist from High Wycombe currently studying MA Digital Effects at National Film & Television School. Prior to joining the film industry, Nigel was training to be a Quantity Surveyor however he decided to follow his dreams of being a Colourist. Since then he has worked on shows for BBC and worked with Brands such as Nike, Adidas, Toyota, GHD, Soho House and Tangle Teezer to name a few.The scholarship from Beaconsfield Film Society will allow him to hone in skills in Colour and Visual Effects and when he graduates he plans to open his own boutique post production company specialising in colour.

Jozephine Hannon – Directing & Producing Science and Natural History

Jozephine Hannon has worked in the film industry for a number of years within VFX & primarily in the camera department. She has thoroughly enjoyed her career up until now but have always hoped to combine her film experience with her passion for wildlife. Directing & Producing Science & Natural History is her dream course. The MA course at the NFTS marries together  technical camera abilities and knowledge of production processes with her huge appreciation for the natural world and conserving it. Jozephine is aiming,  through her studies at NFTS and work experience within factual content producing companies, to develop a solid grounding to advance into this inspiring area of filmmaking.
